Conor McGregor Gets Knocked Out?

So many things are racing through my mind right now. I called a second round knockout. But this must be some sort of parallel universe, because I had the Irishman smashing this diamond back to the bayou. Foul on me. What the fook just happened out there? Those damn leg kicks man. Congrats to Dustin Poirier, he put on a show tonight. 1-1. Nobody was giving him much of a chance, but he’s only been getting better since his loss to McGregor years ago. His chin is absolute granite, and he has become much better than the guy who was finished by McGregor minutes into their first fight. I do think there might have been some Rocky III flashes (on McGregor’s end) but Poirier was still the better fighter tonight. McGregor landed some big shots early, but once I saw Poirier eat them and not fall, I was worried immediately. Let’s not understate this win by Poirier. Conor McGregor has never been knocked out in an MMA fight. All of his MMA losses before this came by submission. This was a big deal, whichever guy you’re a fan of.

I’m gonna pour my sorrows away with some Proper Twelve, because I assume that’s what the double champ is gonna do tonight too. It was definitely the hair, or I guess the lack of.
