The King has once again laid his claim. This time, it was in the form of a 33 points, 11 assists and 4 rebounds. Although this was not a good game for the Lakers, they managed to keep in under control. The Detroit Pistons, the league’s worst team, came nearly came back from a 17-point deficit, sending the game to overtime with a layup in the finals seconds of regulation. LeBron would miss a potential game winner in regulation, but it’s okay. The King would get his redemption though, nailing two big 3s in the final seconds of double overtime to get the Lakers the victory. I know it was a slugfest, and the Lakers shouldn’t be celebrating a 2OT win over the worst team in the league. But a win is a win.
