After blowing an 11-point lead against the Lakers on Monday night, the Thunder are gonna have another shot at the defending champs. The Thunder’s top scorer (22.6 pts per game) Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (SGA) is out tonight with a sore knee. Bad news for OKC is Gilgeous-Alexander also leads the Thunder in assists at 6.5 a game. The scrappy Thunder are gonna have to find their spark somewhere else tonight if they want any chance of winning. The Lakers are trying to avoid a third straight overtime game, and I think we are going to see a slight sense of urgency because of it. Sure it’s only the regular season, but three straight overtime games against sub .500 teams isn’t great for morale. I do think the game will end after four quarters, because I don’t think LeBron has any plans for three straight overtime outings. The absence of Alexander will surely be noticeable tonight. Lakers are a 12.5 favorite, and it could easily be a blowout. Anthony Davis is listed as questionable, and he might play restricted minutes if he does play. If he does make it out there I find it hard to imagine the Thunder taking this one away with them.
Thunder- 101
Lakers- 114
