The Lakers had a lack-luster performance against the Nuggets, as they got blazed by Denver. And then they probably got blazed in Denver. LeBron led the Lakers with 22 points, but he did so on 9-18 shooting. The King also had 10 rebounds and 9 assists. Kyle Kuzma had a good showing nailing 8-12 for 19 points and 8 rebounds. Sadly for the Lake Show, their 3-point shooting was abysmal, going 6-28 from deep. Shooting 65% from the charity stripe doesn’t help either.
Minnesota is 2-6 this February, and they got their second win of the month Sunday against the raptors. But I’m going with the Lake Show. I was wrong Sunday, and chose LA over Denver. But Minnesota is 7-20, which is the worst record in the league. Even though the Lakers haven’t been playing great the last couple weeks, they should handle the team with the worst record in the league. I think LA gets it done by at least 10 tonight.
