Break out the foosball wraps ladies and gentlemen, because later today a tornado will be touching down in the sunshine state. Get your rods polished and your gray-zones groovin; it’s time for some old-fashioned, gator wrastlin IFP Tornado tournament foosball. Tony Spredeman won big in the Open Singles division at the first IFP tour event of the season, the Kentucky State Championships last January. With this season being shortened due to the pandemic, the atmosphere might be more intense among players. Tony Spredeman has been a dominant force in the sport, and the safe bet would probably be on him to win. He finished third last year in the Open Singles event here, and I wouldn’t doubt he’d like to get the job done this year. But I guess we’ll find out who wants it the most when the wrist rockets are flying and goals are being scored.

Day 1 starts at 2 p.m. eastern time. If you don’t want to miss all the action, you can find everything on the FoosTV Youtube page. You don’t want to miss a thing, and thanks to FoosTV you don’t have to. They will be streaming all the events all week. Did I mention it’s free? It’s free live sports during a pandemic, what’s not to like? You’re lying to yourself if you don’t think competitive foosball can be intense, just like any other sport. Because of the rapidness of the ball bouncing around, you might even be able to argue that foosball is more intense than some sports (definitely baseball).

Only a few more hours until the madness begins.
