The 2021 BWF YONEX Swiss Open is Hours Away

The Super 300 tournament will showcase some of the top shuttlers in the world, as the quest for the Tokyo Games begins. There are a lot of points on the table, and they could prove pivotal come the end of Olympic qualifiers. The qualifying window ends on June 15th, and it will be a mad dash to fill all of the Olympic spots. With only a few hours until the action begins, there are still lots of surrounding questions regarding the Swiss Open. With this being the 30th anniversary of the event (last year was cancelled due to the pandemic) there have been a record number of entries.

I’m just happy the Danish Delight is back in action. With him being back on European soil, I think the slight edge has to go to Axelsen going into the tournament. Anders Antonsen will be absent, and he has been the only person able to stop Axelsen recently. I think the only way the Danish Delight doesn’t win here, is if he gets in his own way.

All of the action will be available to stream on the BWF TV Youtube page. For free!

Action starts at 4:00 p.m. Swiss time. Around 10:00 a.m. EST. Get ready. Let the madness begin.

Baseball wishes they could have this kind of energy
