Wellness Wednesday: Tip #25

Constant headaches? Constipation? Dry Skin? Bad hangovers? Can’t relate. Why you may ask? I drink water. As everyone should. But it’s shocking how many people that I’ve seen that don’t drink enough. Most people would probably say they drink a few cups a day. But in reality, we should all be drinking more than a liter a day. Realistically we should be drinking more like two liters a day, and that is before you factor in exercise, temperature, health issues, etc. So if you don’t already have one, go buy a water bottle today. And no I’m not talking about a little 14oz metal shot glass. Go getcha a big boy that holds at least a liter. At least. And then drink two of those a day. Keep said bottle with you like a life-line *spoiler alert* it kind of is one. And if you own one already go clean it. Thoroughly. Who doesn’t love the sweet savory aroma of mildew with their aqua. Lack of water may not be hurting you today, but it’ll haunt you tomorrow. Going out for drinks but worried about a hangover? Maybe you just want to stay safe to drive? Drink a glass of water with each cocktail/beer. Thank me in the morning when you don’t feel like death. Got a headache? GO down some water like Bobby Boucher. If it’s still bad twenty minutes later then go take some Tylenol. Thirsty for a soda? GO down a quick glass or two of water and see if you still want it. In twenty years you can thank me when your kidneys are still workin. And remember, the majority of this planet is made of water. Maybe use that to your advantage. Happy trails.
