Last night wasn’t exactly ideal for the Dallas Mavericks. They got smacked up by the Golden State Warriors. By a lot. To make matters worse, Kristaps Porziņģis AKA the Unicorn, went on a gentle rampage last night. After letting an easy pass slip right through his fingers, the Unicorn decided to let his frustrations out on the ball, Jackie Moon style.
Porziņģis only sent his to maybe the third row, whereas Jackie Moon shot his up to the nose bleed seats like a comet on a clear night sky. KP’s form gave the impression his heart wasn’t in it, which explains a lot. Porziņģis also hit all the fans with the classic “my bad” after he got ejected, which is all you can ask for from an angry unicorn in the heat of the moment. Unfortunately, this ejection didn’t lead to a complete team walkout, but it was still somewhat compelling. I give his form a 4.6 out of 10; needs a little work.
I don’t know much about Kristaps Porziņģis and his earlier days in Latvia, but after watching this I’m glad he ended up a basketball player and not a soccer player.
