First things first, respect to Kobe. Two years today marks his unfortunate and untimely demise. Say what you want about the late great legend, but he definitely deserved to go out in a better way. Now with that aside, let’s begin.
The Lakers won last night, in a relatively big regular season game. They had an overall record of 23-24 and that win took them to 24-24. Their current record is 24-24, and today happens to mark the day that the famed Black Mamba passed away two years ago. The same Black Mamba who also wore #24 for a large part of his career. That can’t just be a coincidence right? LeBron has been putting on an absolute clinic lately, but it sometimes it seems like it’s not enough for them to get by. With that being said, they need another point to rally behind. Two years ago when Kobe passed, LeBron made a promise to the rest of Lake City. And he delivered. For the 16,647,875th time of his career, the King delivered. And now his team sits at 24-24, and on such a monumental day no less. Could this be the catalyst the Lakers have been needing to get things going? Might be. Only one thing is for certain. There’s definitely something in the water in Lake City, and we’re all gonna find out what it is soon enough.

Good, bad, maybe even apocalyptic? Who knows? But something or is coming for us all. Only a matter of time until we have to send a cybernetic enhanced clone of LeBron to go 1v1 the aliens in order to ensure the survival of the human race.
