Who Does Hefty Think They Are?

I’m sure anyone reading this born before 2000 will understand perfectly. Zoo Pals baby. Best plates money could ever buy. Then, as mysterious and sudden as the fall of Atlantis, they were gone; never to be seen again. And for what reason? In all seriousness, what reason could possibly be good enough to justify a decision like discontinuing them? And don’t say something stupid like lack of demand. There’s no demand for Lays to continue to make creatively nasty chips, yet they continue to. There’s no demand for brain-dead, good for nothing “social influencers” in society, but we seem to have a staggering amount of them. There’s no demand for corporations to hire dummies to run them, yet that’s all we have. There is ZERO demand for Hollywood to keep shelling out turd-glazed remakes of old classics, but they won’t stop that either. Zoo Pals were quite literally just plates. How is there not enough demand for that? They’re plates. Maybe because they tried to jack up the price an absurd amount and got mad that people couldn’t justify spending that much on a pack with less than half the plates in it. That could be it, but I’m just spit-ballin’ here. I don’t care how many petitions need to be signed or how many approvals/signatures are needed by corporate higher-ups. They need to just get it done. It’s been nearly twenty years since we were blessed with those sweet paper plates, and it’s frustrating no other brands have done something with that. They had so much potential for different variety packs based on environment, species, etc. and they completely squandered it. At this point Hefty doesn’t even deserve Zoo Pals. Hefty AKA Reynolds Consumer Products can go eat a phat one. Instead of trying to increase their profits by 3000% to only fill their pockets more, they should’ve just worried about putting out a good product that would satisfy consumers, making them more money in return. But no, a bunch of stingy turds decides something wasn’t valuable enough to them, so they ruined it for everyone. Just. Give. Us. Back. The. Plates.
