Super Bowl Week is Here

I can guarantee you this was not the matchup anyone was expecting to see last fall. Nobody would’ve said a team from Ohio is gonna make the Super Bowl (except people that live in Ohio). But here we are. The Bengals flew under a lot of radars until later in the season when they just couldn’t be ignored anymore. And then they beat the number one seed in the AFC and the defending AFC champions back-to-back. On the other end of the spectrum, Los Angeles lost a few key matchups earlier in the season, and a lot of people wrote them off because of it. But they also pieced together performances at the right time, and more importantly, they finally caught their rhythm. Everyone knew Matt Stafford was gonna do well with an actual football team, but I bet you nobody thought it would be like this. Hey remember when Tedy Bruschi said Matt Stafford was mentally weak when he didn’t want to join the “Patriot Way” at the end of last season. I didn’t forget about that nonsense, and neither should you. Regardless of how good people thought these teams were gonna be this year, I know most of you didn’t see it coming. But isn’t that the great part about the NFL Playoffs? Teams can catch fire seemingly out of nowhere. Kingdoms can collapse right in front of our eyes. Legends are born and heroes emerge.

I think we’re gonna see some more of that this weekend. As much experience and skill the Rams have I feel like it’s hard to bet against the Bengals at the moment. With that being said, I feel like OBJ will play defense if that’s what it takes to win a Super Bowl. Sean McVay probably won’t sleep for like three nights in a row and Aaron Donald and Von Miller are gonna be bench-pressing each other in preparation. It’s gonna be a good one.

I just hope the commercials are good this year.
