FINALLY. This is exactly what the Switch needed in order to truly make the claim for best console ever. It had nearly everything, and now we get Wii-style motion games on it. Probably the best news so far this year if I’m being completely truthful. Nintendo Switch Sports will have some of the more classic games like tennis, bowling and the sword-fighting. But we lucky ducks are also gonna get new games like volleyball, soccer and badminton. BADMINTON. Badminton is the probably the greatest court-game of all-time (with the exception of dodgeball). If you want to know more about badminton check out the BWF. The volleyball sounds amazing (if you get to jump around with it). Maybe they’ll even have beach volleyball? The possibilities seem endless.

The game will launch late-April and there’s gonna be a free online test later in February for players with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. But wait there’s more.

Nintendo Switch Sports will also be getting updates throughout the year. There will be a leg strap that will enable you to do a soccer shootout. Hopefully you can choose lots of different countries in that, because it sounds awesome. And then golf will also be added to the game later this year as well as a free update.

This really is the best news ever. I just hope the character customizer situation is as good as it was on the Wii. Nothing beats the Mii characters.
