Jim Miller Ties Cowboy Cerrone for Most Wins in UFC History at 23

In this day and age, many find themselves in a constant state of “What have you done for me lately?” In a sport full of prospective talent and young killers, a wise old lion has found himself atop Mount Zuffa alongside a Cowboy.

A few nights ago, Jim Miller competed in his 39th UFC bout, the most of any UFC fighter. Not only does he have the record for most fights in the UFC, Miller was also sitting tied for second among UFC wins at 22. That was until he overcame the odds, stopping Nikolas Motta in the second round via TKO. It was his 23rd win in his UFC career, tying Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone for the most all-time.

How fitting that both these guys are sitting atop Mount Zuffa with 23 wins, considering they could be due for a rematch. They fought back in 2014 at UFC Fight Night 45. We saw Cowboy’s patented head kick finish things off in the second round, as he secured the KO finish. We’re nearly 8 years removed from that fight, and quite a bit has happened.

Not only do these two have the most wins in UFC history. Miller has a score to settle. And what a better way to set it up? Winner breaks the record for most wins in the history of the promotion. It would be a rematch for the ages.

Better yet; let them do a best-of-seven series, NBA-style. Winner goes down as the most winningest fighter in the history of the UFC and they can both ride off into the sunset after some pretty stellar careers.
