Did the Colts Rig the BP Oil Spill to Promote Lucas Oil Stadium Ticket Sales?

Was this worth a rise in ticket sales? Was it?

Lucas Oil Stadium in all its glory and shine

What does Julius Caesar, JFK and the Hangover all have in common?  All inside jobs.  Can jet fuel melt steel beams? Did we really land on the moon? Caesar trail-blazed getting stabbed in the back.  And the Wolfpack was drugged by one of their own.  I wouldn’t call myself a conspiracist but I do love the National Treasure movies.  But I wouldn’t even call this a conspiracy.  This is just pondering thoughts and whatever happens happens.  Maybe a few things will start to add up.  Who knows? *Michael Scott voice* It’s nebulose.  The Colts almost got us on this one.  But my mind is as sharp as the knife that was thrusted into Caesar’s back.  I saw right through this one.  And now I’m here to shed a little light on something a lot of people may have overlooked.  That is the possibility that the BP oil spill of 2010 may have been in fact an inside job.

The Indianapolis Colts fresh off a Super Bowl defeat to the New Orleans Saints were in a daze heading into the offseason after Super Bowl 44.  They needed to do something in order to remain relevant. What could that be? Maybe they could get a couple offseason additions to improve their weak spots. There is even the possibility in trading away some pieces that aren’t helping the team reach their potential. But the Colts may have gone down a different trail. The Colts play at Lucas Oil Stadium. BP is a huge international oil/gas company. What better way to stay relevant than to keep the topic of oil all around the nation whether it be BP oil or Lucas Oil Stadium. Kudos to the Colts organization on this one. In 2009 and 2010 they were voted as having the best artificial turf in the NFL. Coincidence? I think not. Some may say this is not possible, but didn’t they say going to the moon was impossible? But their attendance rose from the 2009 season to the 2010 season and thats a fact. I’ll let you decide for yourself if the oil spill was the reason. But keep your eyes peeled out here. What a wonderful woeful wacky willowy world we live in.
